Say Cheese
19th January, 09
For a bit of light reading over the weekend I studied the 190 page user manual for our new camera. Ah yes it was a real page turner! It’s interesting how many things this camera can do when all I really need it for is to take clean, crisp pictures of my products. After many reads and re-reads I took the new camera out for a spin and snapped some pictures of my new brooches. It took a few dozen tries but the results were pretty good. I’m sure when I get a bit more time I’ll explore the the full capabilities of this little machine but for now, I’m quite happy with how the images turned out.
I think I have found a solution for my walls. I’m going to build a frame structure out of pipes, then create faux wall sections and hang them from the pipe. If all goes well then this structure should hold together, look like real walls, be light weight and free standing. I’m always nervous though until the whole thing comes together.
With a only a few days left I’ve got to focus on other things for the show. There’s samples to be made, signage to print out and stores are already calling to place their orders for Spring. Fingers crossed the walls will work out (eek!).
If you’re coming to the show, come say hi. We’d love to meet you!
