Hi peeps!

Despite the precautions I took on Friday the 13th, all the pillows and cushions in the world couldn’t have protected me against this streak of bad luck. Seems the boy, who have been sick the last week, has infected me with his cold cooties. I spent the weekend (and oh what a beautiful warm sunny weekend it was by the way) indoors under layers of blankets and sweaters sneezing and coughing to no end. Stupid boy with this stupid cooties! Grrrrrr…
I had an inkling on Thursday that I was getting a cold, by Friday it was considerably worse. Still I was feeling optimistic and thought I could bare back ride it out drug free (Just say no!). What’s a couple of sniffles right? I can do it! But without any cold medication, by Sunday I felt as though I had been run over by a semi truck. So after going through my third box of Kleenex and second pot of soup, I caved and went to the drug store…
While dragging my sad little butt around the drug store and totally feeling sorry for myself, I came across these:
LOVE!!! SQUEEE! How cute are they?!? I couldn’t stop giggling when I saw these on the shelf! I had to have them!
For the rest of the afternoon, as I was bundled under my blankie I’d look over at my peeps and smile. “I’m hanging out with my peeps!” I thought to myself. I imagined taking them out to bars and clubs and introducing them to people. “Say hi to my peeps!” or “wazzup peeps?”. Hahahahaha! Anyways, I guess the cold medication must’ve kicked in pretty fast. I thought it was hilarious!
These little yellow marshmallows totally made me feel better. Thanks peeps! I promise not to eat you.
