Hey kiddies! Sorry I haven’t had much time to chit chat. Our big trade show’s LESS than a week away and I’m busy busy getting everything ready. We did have an August long weekend and I did absolutely nothing but work work work all three days. Totally worth it though! I LOVE these new cards I designed and can’t wait to launch them at the big show!
Please say hello to my new RIP cards. RIP stands for “Real Important People” because, love ‘em or hate ‘em, these dead celebs have all been part of our lives one way or another. I picked out 6 of my favourite celebs for this 2009 series.
Yes these are the drawings I talked about a couple posts ago! You know the ones I drew with pen-cil and pap-er. What do you think? Can you guess who they are? I made the drawings, then transferred them onto the computer, cleaned them up a bit, added the text, then burned the image onto a screen and finally hand printed them (one at a time) on my Print Gocco machine.
Seriously folks, every time I start to think that I couldn’t love my Gocco more, I love it even MORE! It’s soooo fun and easy to use! I printed about 150 of each style to start. I guess we’ll see how the show goes. Honestly I had to physically stop myself from printing ‘cos I could’ve gone on for ages. My booth would’ve had nothing else but these cards!
It doesn’t make a plum bit of sense to me why this little machine has been discontinued. Why God why!?! Please God, if you bring back the Gocco I promise I’ll never jay walk again, or press the elevator button more than once, or drop an apple in the supermarket then put it back on the pile, or…
