Hi!  Remember me?  Yeah I’m the girl who writes this blog.  So sorry for leaving you guys high and dry there.  It’s been what like at least a couple weeks since I’ve posted?  Which strangely coincides with the Toronto One Of A Kind Show.  Hmmmmm…. funny how that works.

Did the last couple weeks totally fly by!  The show’s is in full swing and I’ve been going non stop.  From show to studio, studio to post office (to send off retail orders), post office to show… over and over until I make myself dizzy.  Why do I sound surprised?  It’s like this every Christmas!  Ho ho ho!

After the show closes every night, I come back to the studio and work till the wee hours of the morning.  My new Kanzashi Garlands have been very popular which is FANTASTIC except I didn’t make enough of them to last the duration.  It’s always like that with new products.  You never know whether you’ll be selling out the first day or sitting on a pile of stock for the next two months so I usually go conservative with production.  Trust me I’m not complaining, just wish I had a crystal ball that could’ve predicted their popularity.  What’s great is that I’m seeing how they look on a variety of people who try them on.  Keep in mind that I’ve never seen them on anyone else but myself, so it’s like a parade of living breathing mannequins all wearing my Garlands.  Squee! So pretty!

So how’s the show so far?  Things are going great!  Sales are brisk and traffic is steady.  Both our neighbours are sweet and funny ladies so we are very happy with where we’re at.  I don’t think we’ve ever had bad neighbours mind you so that’s nice.  My friend Kristin also came by the show on the second day (was it the second day?  It’s all blurring into one loooooong day) to drop off some of her delicious PMS cookies.  TWO BAGS!  Woohoo!  The boy’s taken time off work this week to help me at the show so I’m not stuck there by myself for the whole day.  Woohoo x 2!

Anyways sorry to ramble, I’m actually writing this morning (pre-show) to post a $3 off admission to the Toronto One OF A Kind Show. I know it kills me that I didn’t do it earlier but there’s still plenty of time to come check it out!  We’re in booth K-52 at the very tip of the Visual Arts Gallery.  Also I have about 50 passes to give away for the New York One Of A Kind Show happening December 11th - 13th.  Just shoot me an email with your name and day you plan on visiting, and I’ll leave them at the show front entrance for you to pick up.
