Weekend field trip
26th April, 10
How was your weekend? Hope y’all managed to get outside a little bit to enjoy the sunshine. If you’re in Calgary though, I hear you guys got some snow. I would say I’m surprised but having lived there for about 8 years I know that snow in June even isn’t something out of the ordinary. However you do get those awesome Chinooks during the winter so that’s not so bad right?
How did I get off talking about the weather?! Sorry about that. So being that the National Stationery Show is only a few weeks away, I find myself working through the weekend. Oh whatever, work is play when work is fun so don’t feel bad for me by any means. I did manage to sneak away for a couple hours on Saturday to check out one of my favourite Flea-tique (cross between flea and antique) market north of the city.
Some people go to museums or book stores for inspiration, I go to Flea-tique Markets. What can I say? I *heart* vintage! I don’t always end up buying something but I sure do enjoy poking around. This time around I found some adorable vintage-y Valentines Day cards.

Squee! Too cute for words right? These will go into my permanent collection for sure! Well maybe I’ll use a couple of them for gift tags but no promises.
Alright back to working on new products. Can’t wait to show you guys! Don’t want to jinx it though so I’ll keep it to myself for now. Fingers crossed!

Excellent score! Where is this magical flea-tique? I feel the need for some treasure hunting!

Hey Christine!
It’s called the Meister Market. I don’t know about magical but it’s a fun pretty day out!
