Hey have you guys heard about General Tao?
General Tao is a hidden gem of a gift shop nestled in the up and coming Bloor and Ossington hood. With no official website, FB Page or Twitter account (gasp!), unless you live in that area you might not even know it existed. But like any buzzworthy business, General Tao certainly doesn’t need a flashy website or any in-your-face signage to catch our attention.
Owner Elissa does a great job in creating a fun and inviting place to shop. Quaint displays, eclectic mix of furniture and custom built fixtures all goes to creating a ridiculously charming environment!
For those of us who never know what we’re quite looking for, product selection range far and wide from gnome piggy banks to handmade felt accessories, vintage oil paintings to original artwork, hilariously funny magnet sets to oh so pretty paper lanterns. Variety is never a bad thing!
So… if you haven’t gone to check it out already you really should. Then go forth, my early adapters, and spread the good word about General Tao!
