Winter Wonderland

Over the weekend we went up to a friend’s cottage to celebrate his birthday.
We didn’t do a heck of a lot for three days except sit by the fire, hang out and eat and drink ourselves silly.  Oh and we played board games and charades as well of course.

A couple of nifty finds over the weekend…
I LOVE gnomes and I’m pretty sure I squealed when I came across these guys!  It’s totally the wrong season right now and I can’t wait to put them in my garden this spring.
In the meantime they are diligently guarding my hallway.  Good lads!

Wee vacation part 2

We left London after uneventful visits to Camden Market, Carnaby Street and Covent Garden *yawn* and made an overnight pit stop at my old Alma Matar located in Ashford Kent.  It’s been 22 years since I’ve been back and even still, I remembered where everything was.
