Wow have things ever been redonkulously busy around here! There I was just minding my own business (literally) and meeting with distributors, when whammy! Two massive orders come in and hit us right in the kisser.
Back up a minute, what was that? Meeting with distributors?
I can try to act all cool and nonchalant about it but SQUEE! I’m thrilled to announce that Smitten Kitten has partnered up with Uneeq Fashion and Accessories as exclusive distributor of Smitten Kitten in New Zealand! This is awesome and I can’t wait for Smitten Kitten products to be made available half way around the world.
And what was that last part? You got smacked in the face?
Well no not literally smacked but it did knock the wind out of me. We received two big orders from two mac-daddy retail chains. Both received within 24 hours of each other… That’s 2-4, twenty four.
It’s like giving birth to a baby then finding out after the first one is delivered that you’re having twins.
As excited as I am, this one I am going to act all cool and nonchalant about ‘cos I don’t want to count chickens before hatching kinda thing.

Oh and did I casually mention that we’ll be exhibiting at the CGTA Gift show is less than a week’s time?
Smitten Kitten is returning to the Fall CGTA Gift Show this August. We’ll be in Hall 10 at the Congress Center. Booth #10832 in the Artisan’s Way.
There are still samples to prepare, order forms/catalogues/signage to make, booth to build… and of course I refuse to drop any of the new products I’m designing for the Gift Show. Why would I? Designing the best part about this business!
Dear buyers, if you see a slightly frazzled looking girl manning the booth, please be kind. Go up to her, smile gently and tell her “everything’s going to be alright”. Definitely do not buy her another cup of coffee as I’m sure she’ll already be running on 5+ cups.
Dear blog readers, I’m so sorry I’ve been amiss as of late. It’s kinda difficult to type when I’m juggling many MANY proverbial balls in the air, all the while breathing deeply into a paper bag. To you I promise to keep posted on new developments.
