I’m so excited that Mr. postman dropped off a book I ordered today!

Today’s Top Stationery Artists 2 is a collection of work by some of today’s awesomest paper goods designers. Golly gee shucks we’re thrilled that Smitten Kitten is on that list!

I’m also great to see a couple other Canadian companies featured in this book. Swoon-worthy cards by Kate & Birdie Company and Cartolina Cards.

Here are a few of my favs:
Fellow Gocco addict, La Familia Green, has her awesome work featured, as well as in interview with the artist, Mollie Green.

The always charming Two Trick Pony:

another crush of mine, Sukie:

And the super cute, Fagu Fagu Press:

The person who especially needs a mention is Tori Higa, Tori is the talented illustrator who put this book together. Her work is whimsical and fresh. I especially like her line of cards that incorporates vintage fabrics in their design.

If you’d like your own copy of Today’s Top Stationery Artists 2, you can purchase it here.

I’m pleased as punch that our home/studio has been featured on Apartment Therapy’s House Tour last week!
Being on Apartment Therapy is one of those bucket list type things for me. Even though we were a bit nervous at first with the idea of sharing our home with everyone, we’re so happy with the piece Abby wrote and the photos she took are so pretty!
… and what a nice surprise to find out that it’s the top tour on Apartment Therapy at the moment. Wow-wee!
We want to thank everyone for taking time to leave a comment on the AT website. To view our home please click any of the images. We love our little home and hope you do too. Enjoy!

We’ve been busy busy getting ready for the upcoming National Stationery Show which is only a couple weeks away. As per usual there seems to be an endless list of must-dos and oh-crap-I-forgots that pop up at the last minute. No biggie… one thing (or six) at a time I suppose.
Generally this is the time of year I double up on my daily dose of vitamins because I don’t want to get sick from sleeping less and stressing more. Today is doubly awesome (and not just vitamins sense)… Checking the mailbox this morning I found the new copy of Gift Shop Magazine has arrived and that our adorable Dolly Cards have been featured in this month’s Gift Shop Magazine. What a nice surprise!

Dolly cards are available at our online shop. And if you’re coming to the National Stationery Show next month, we’ll have them there as well. Booth 1845. See y’all in May!
Hi-ho-hi-ho… so back to work I go.

Hi kids, sorry for being MIA as of late! There’s been so much going on all at the same time. Exciting news but I’m going to keep it on the DL for now. Not to worry, it will reveal itself soon enough ;P
In the meantime, check out the new Bacardi Ad campaign my friend Devon did! Devon, my brother from another mother, is a super talented Art Director currently working and residing in NYC. I love this new campaign so check it out!

I found this wonderful feature on Anna Sui’s website that features the many illustrators Anna has collaborated with to design her t-shirts.

Among the slew of talented illustrators is Naho Ogawa. A graduate from NY’s Parson’s School Of Design, Naho and her husband resides in Tokyo where she illustrates for a slew of publications such as Vogue, Newsweek and The New Yorker. I love her work!

And of course one of my favs, Lio Beardsley!

The work of illustrator and art director Michael Economy…

Kalani Lee Catbagan is an artist based in Brookyn. Her illustrations are blends of pop culture, fashion and art.

The talented Jeffrey Fulvimari! Probably best known for illustrating Madonna’s book The English Roses, Jeffrey has an extensive collection of illustrations and have worked with clients such as Vogue magazine, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, Marie Claire, Glamour, The New York Times, Seventeen, Visionaire, Anna Sui and Gap.
Since 1999 Jeffrey has also produced a broad range of licensed goods in Japan, and has also launched popular product lines in the US, the UK, France, Italy, Mexico, and other territories.

There’s tons of other great artists featured on Anna Sui’s website! Take a look then next time you get a chance.
