About Kanzashi

Kanzashi - meaning "hairpins" in Japanese, is a flower crafting technique that has been used by geishas for decades. Unlike other fabric flowers on the market, Kanzashi flowers are three dimensional in look and feel. Each petal is folded much like origami and hand-sewn together to create a flower. We design and make our signture Silk Scarf Kanzashi Brooches with vintage silk scarves as fabric, which further enhances the uniqueness of these beautiful blooms.

We are plesase to introduce to you our Kanzashi Garland Couture Collection. These one-of-a-kind necklaces are an ornamental collage of colours and texture. Beautifully crafted in our studio, these one of a kind necklaces are sure to add a touch of whimsy to any party dress.

Our unique Wedding Brooches are not made exclusively for weddings, rather they are made FROM weddings. Hand sewn using vintage wedding dresses as fabric, our Wedding Collection truly brings to light the term "Something old, something new...".
