How to shop on line:

Whenever you see an item that tickles your fancy at Smitten Kitten, simply click the 'add to cart' button located next to the item description. This does not commit you to buying the product; it simply sets it aside so that when you do decide to buy it you can check out at your convenience.

After you put an item in your shopping cart you will be automatically directed to your shopping cart page. Your shopping cart page is where you are able to change the quantity of any item you would like to purchase or remove any items from your cart. You may also choose to continue shopping by clicking the “continue shopping” button. By doing so you will be re-directed back to the Smitten Kitten page you were browsing.

You can click on the "View Cart" button located at the top right corner of every page at anytime to view and update the contents of your shopping cart or to check out.

I’m done shopping. What now?

When you are ready to check out, simply click the “view cart” button located at the top right corner of every page and locate the "go to payments" link. In the next series of pages you will be asked to type information that will let us know where to send the order, how to send it and how you intend to pay for it.

We use Mal’s SSL e-commerce shopping carts to process your online order. Mal’s e-commerce payment pages uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption. SSL encrypts all the information you provide in your online application, including your name, address and credit information. What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, Master Card, American Express and JCB credit cards as payment. You can also pay using Paypal; It is a safe and secure way to shop online. You do not need to create a Paypal account to use Paypal. Smitten Kitten is a verified member of Paypal.

Gift Certificates

Special offers and Promotion Codes can be redeemed on your shopping cart page. Simply enter your code in the appropriate field and your discount will be automatically reflected in your final order total. Can I place an order by phone?

It's easy and safe to place your order online via our website, but if you prefer to speak to a live person, you may call us at 1.416.880.MEOW Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm EST and we'll be happy to assist you. All orders are shipped from Toronto Ontario via Canada Post Expedited Service, which usually takes 6-8 business days depending on how far you are from Toronto. Shipping prices are calculated according to the pre-tax total of your order:

It might take a couple days longer to arrive to you but rest assured that there are no nasty duties or additional fees to pay when the order arrives at your door. Yay!

When will my items be shipped?

All orders for in-stock items will be shipped within 4 days of being received. If any item is temporarily out of stock, you will be notified immediately.

Should you need an order right away, overnight shipping service is also available at an extra charge. If you are interested, please contact us for pricing.

Order confirmation and tracking

After you place an order, you will receive two emails from us. The first will arrive shortly after you place your order, confirming that we've received it. The second will be sent after your order has shipped. These emails will contain your order number along with a link you can use to track the status of your order. If you're having trouble tracking your order, you can call us at 1.416.880.MEOW and we can assist you; please have your order number ready.

Returns and exchanges

We pride ourselves in delivering top quality product and want you to LOVE what you have ordered from us. If however for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we will be happy to offer a full refund or exchange. Returns are accepted within 14 days of the date of receipt.

For your protection, we recommend shipping via insured/certified mail or UPS/FedEx Ground service, so you have a record of the return. Goods must be returned in perfect condition, unopened and in the original shipping package. In lieu of re-stocking fee, return shipping charges are non-refundable and full responsibility of the customer.

We will promptly credit your account upon receipt of the returned items and will send you an e-mail confirmation.

Please note that Smitten Kitten products are made by humans not robots. Items made from vintage materials (such as wallpaper memo pads and journals) may may vary slightly from the image depicted on the website because of the nature of the material. We promise to do our best in delivering a top-notch product to you! Some items we make are one of a kind (such as the silk scarf kanzashi brooches), once they are sold they are gone.
