Welcome to Smitten Kitten's Show and Tell shop.

As a product designer, I am often asked what inspires me to create the products here at Smitten Kitten. To help answer this question, I have created a new section to offer up a sampling of some of the cute items that I covet.

As you may already know, a lot of my inspiration comes from vintage knick knacks. But aside from that I find inspiration from my surroundings. I moved around quite a bit when I was young, so I find that a lot of my influences come from everyday objects and design from far away places. For instance, I have a strange fascination with cute Japanese candies. The bright packaging and adorable designs resonate with me, and years later I’m still smitten.
